Sustainability is at the heart of Rilona. We believe that fashion can be both beautiful and responsible. That's why we design garments that are not only timeless, but also conserve resources and respect the environment.

Our designs are created from carefully selected, high-quality secondhand textiles such as blankets, curtains, and other often overlooked fabrics. These often discarded materials are given a second life with us. By using existing fabrics, we avoid new production and conserve valuable resources.

Instead of mass production, we focus on small batches or individual pieces, which are manufactured in collaboration with a Viennese tailor. This way, we support local artisans and reduce our carbon footprint by avoiding long transport routes.

At Rilona, ​​we're all about slow fashion – fashion that's more than a short-term trend. Our pieces are designed to stand the test of time and remain favorites for years to come. We focus on versatility and individuality to create clothing that will be worn for generations.

We prefer natural fibers, but we also use synthetic materials if they offer exceptional quality. This way, we take what already exists and transform it into something new and unique.

The fashion industry is one of the most resource-intensive in the world. At Rilona, ​​we want to show that there's another way: with conscious design, the reuse of materials, and the avoidance of overproduction.
